The leading cause of death anywhere outside of a hospital is cardiac arrest, and the rapid use of a functioning AED increases the patient's chance of surviving the event from 9% to 93%. AED123’s goal is to increase access to AEDs by making them easy and affordable to install, ensure that all AEDs under its care are compliant and ready for use, and to help its customers always be prepared to save a life.
