Julie Davis

Julie Davis is the creator and founder of Pura Vida. As a self-professed and unapologetic nerd, she has always been passionate about learning. Her educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree from UCF, a law degree from Mercer University, a master’s in health administration from Ohio University, and several healthcare management certifications. With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, including experience in plastic surgery and med spas, she feels well-prepared to lead the Pura Vida Body & Mind Team. Davis believes in leading by example, so don’t be surprised if you see her working right alongside the other Pura Vida team members. Driven and passionate about my work, she takes pride in giving back whenever possible. Davis has mentored many women in business, helping them reach heights they might have once thought unattainable. Davis is an active member of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce and many other professional women’s groups. Her commitment to giving back extends beyond mentorship—she has founded two non-profit organizations. Her most recent venture, Reconstructing Dreams, Inc., offers no-cost cosmetic services to victims of violent crimes, including domestic abuse and sex trafficking. Additionally, Davis has served as a court-appointed, volunteer guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children in the foster system.
