Mark Tager

MD

Mark J. Tager, MD, is a physician, educator, and entrepreneur who bridges the worlds of functional, regenerative, and aesthetic medicine—centered practices that integrate internal health and external beauty. He has created numerous training courses for health-related companies and associations including the 40-hour CME program on Personalized Nutrition for Practitioners for the American Nutrition Association. He speaks at many of the U.S. and international meetings in functional medicine and aesthetics. Dr. Tager is the co-founder (along with Peter Staats, MD) of the Vagus Nerve Society (VNSociety.org) and host of the Healing Journeys documentary series. His most recent book is Integrative Aesthetics: Your Roadmap to Practice Growth. It is the business-based accompaniment to Feed Your Skin Right: Your Personalized Nutrition Plan for Radiant Beauty and the 10-hr online Inside Skin Beauty professional training program. Through his teaching, writing, and media work, Dr. Tager empowers clinicians to embrace new models of care that deliver better outcomes, stronger patient relationships, and greater professional fulfillment. He did his medical training at Duke Medical School and Family Practice at the University of Oregon. He lives outside San Diego where he grows impressive tomatoes.
