Matthew Meckfessel is a PhD scientist with a background in biochemistry who loves to tell stories by bringing the science to life. He's currently the Head of US Medical for Aesthetics, Consumer, and the Skinovation Lab. At Galderma, he's led the development and launch of Galderma's Skinovation Lab to generate novel and innovative data insights across various products. Dr. Meckfessel has partnered on numerous launches at Galderma including Restylane Contour, Sculptra Cheek Wrinkles, Restylane Eyelight, the first in class Rx to OTC switch of Differin Gel, and many others. Most recently he's led innovative research into the use of Galderma's Injectable Portfolio in treating facial volume loss associated with medication-driven weight loss and identifying the novel, regenerative mechanism of action for Sculptra.
