Julie Bass Kaplan, FNP-BC, CANS, is a double board-certified family nurse practitioner, Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and facial anatomist who began her medical aesthetics career in 1999. Kaplan has a special interest in teaching safe injection techniques. She is faculty for Palette Resources, Allergan and Galderma. She is a published author for several medical journal articles and loves to speak internationally. Kaplan has a private Patreon community, Jubilant Julie, where she enjoys mentoring injectors of all levels. She founded Disappearing Act Aesthetic Medicine in Redding, California, and Ashland, Oregon. She also holds intimate, monthly facial anatomy and ultrasound workshops encouraging her attendees to inject, dissect and connect. Jubilant Head & Breakfast Anatomy Workshops are intensive and fully accredited with 20 hours of CME for 12 providers located at her training center in Ashland, Oregon.
